IS101 Week 2 Lesson: 2.2.8 Windows Setting Facts

In truth my 1st 2 weeks of IS101 has been truly stressful as a 1st time college student. I started slightly ahead of the game completing the bonus quiz 1 to 100% while working on completing the A1, A2, and D1 assignments. During my attempts to complete the A1, A2, and D1 to 100% I found myself confused most of the time trying to meet the standards and deadlines that Professor Wu set for the assignments. Though it's much appreciated of Professor Wu understanding of the situation especially for struggling 1st time students such as myself it doesn't change the fact of not meeting the standards set forth by Professor Wu.

Having stated these facts, I have finally found my, balance with time management as well as understanding the step-by-step process of the assignments given by Professor Wu and as such this assignment will be my last past due assignment. I now look towards the future of each week class session and assignments that come with them as I will be able to meet and continue with the standards set for by Professor Wu to be successful not only in his class, but for my, college career up to and beyond graduation.

CSN 2024 Fall Semester Initial Experience

After a decade of working through various jobs in the civilian workforce, mostly in the restaurant industry and another decade in the military specifically the Army, I now find myself as a new student to the Fall 2024 semester at CSN.

The process for becoming a new student as CSN has definitely been a bit of a challenge for myself, first with going through the VA process to activate funds for school as well as living expenses.

Second learning the process of applying to CSN; setting up appointments with an Academic Advisor, enrolling in the appropriate classes for my degree in IT Engineering and Network-Cyber Security.

Third learning how to active online books for necessary classes and learning how to use the tools given/needed to complete assignments now that everything is mostly online.

Now the 1st week of attending classes is accomplished with meeting instructors for each class, learning a small bit of information about each subject, and completing the 1st set of assignments given for participation in a classroom environment.

I now find myself on an academic journey that will give me the tools, skills, and confidence in completing my goals for my degree and hopefully lead to a better future.
